Jennifer is passionate about helping children become confident communicators through working 1 to 1 with them and through caregiver education and coaching.
Following the completion of the MSc in Speech and Language Therapy program from Queen Margaret University in 2016, she spent three years as the SLP at Small Talk Centre for Language Development, a group therapy centre serving preschool aged children with a primary diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder and a year offering parent training programs for caregivers of children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder through the Hanen Centre.
Jennifer is certified by the Hanen Centre to offer the ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ and “More Than Words’ programs.
She has a special interest in early intervention language therapy, articulation therapy, and the use of AAC to ensure all children have a means to communicate. Jennifer offers neurodiversity affirming intervention.
She is experienced in providing intervention in person as well as via tele therapy. She believes in providing family centred therapy that is goal driven, play based, and fun.
